Kelly is the Senior Director of Operations at Arcus Advisors, where she is responsible for building the firm’s operational frameworks and standardizing quality control processes for the consulting practice. Drawing on over 20 years of expertise in technical accounting and audit, Kelly ensures excellence in client delivery while leading internal professional development and mentorship. She also serves as a strategic advisor to clients, specializing in technical accounting matters, adoptions of new accounting standards, back-office infrastructure, and audit readiness.

Prior to her leadership role at Arcus, Kelly spent 14 years in the PwC audit practice. As a top-rated Senior Manager, she served a diverse portfolio of clients, from private equity-backed high-growth companies to global public entities. A highlight of her tenure included a two-year tour in PwC’s National Quality Organization, where she served as a national subject matter expert on audit methodology and US firm policy for private company audits. She also drove large-scale transformation initiatives in the Houston Market as the Process Improvement Champion and Market Team Transformation Leader for the Private Company Services practice.

In addition to her work at Arcus, Kelly is a Lecturer in Accounting at the Rice Business School, where she develops and delivers undergraduate, graduate-level, and executive education curricula focused on auditing and internal control systems. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accounting from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. She is a member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Accounting Association.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children travelling, exercising, and cooking/baking. She also enjoys painting and coaching her kids’ recreational sports leagues including Volleyball and Basketball.
